Certifications :Our company is registered with the French Ministry of sport and youth N° APS 03706ET0024. The French Canoe and kayak federation N°3709 and we have the « point canoe nature » label.

 

Staff :Our team of staff are top level atheletes with 15 years experience. All accompanied canoe and kayak outings are with qualified Federal instructors.

The boats :

 

Las embarcaciones : The canoës and kayaks used by the CLAN are new generation double hull and unsinkable boats. They are open, and leave passengers legs free in case of capsize.

 

Lifejackets : The lifejackets are all conform to current standards and are cleaned with an antibacterial cleanser before each rental use. The staff provide the right lifejacket for each client depending on size and weight. The lifejackets are put through a reglementary floatability test every year.

 

Health and safety Rules : You will be told how to manœuvre the boat before you leave downriver and any possible difficulties will be pointed out to you. You will receive a plastified map for your trip – to be returned on arrival.

 

Transport : Our clients are either taken or picked up from the departures/arrivals points in a 9 seater minibus (8 passengers). You will be given a pick up time and place before you leave. This transport from the arranged sites is included in the canoe hire charge.

 

Requirements for canoeing and kayaking : All persons must be able to swim 25metres and be able to go underwater. All children (up to 18 yrs old) must be accompanied by a responsable adult. If the staff think a person is at risk – they retain the right to refuse access to the canoe/kayak hire. Cycle hire :

 

The equipment : The VTC « Vélo tout chemin » bikes for roads and paths, they are all recent and well maintained. They are checked and cleaned before each rental. 

 

The VTT « vélo tout terrain » mountain bikes GITANE , with aluminium frames and 21 gears, suspension and back luggage rack

 

Equipment :Included in the bike hire are : a helmet, a puncture repair kit, an inner tube, an anti theft device and of course maps of the circuit.

 

Hire conditions :All minors under 18 must be accompanied by a responsable adult. The staff of CLAN reserve the right to refuse access to any person they consider unfit to do the activities.
